NAHB down again
We just got yet another decline in the National Association of Home Builders' Index, this time for the month of September. The index fell to 30 in September from 33 in August. The sub-indices for present and future single family homes fell by 5 and 4 points, respectively. Only the prospective buyers traffic sub-index held steady at 22. The overall index is at its worst level since the 1991 recession (February of that year, to be specific).
